Bay Plastics Limited is a plastic stockist, fabricator and formist that supplies customers all over the world with quality plastic materials and products. While it’s recently developed an online ordering function in response to demand from current customers, it needs to implement a series of web optimisation techniques to increase sales.

These techniques include:
• E-Marketing/Viral Marketing
• Web Optimisation Strategies
• Web architecture analysis
• Web content analysis
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)/Price per Click, Micro site development

The company is currently seeking an E-marketing Developer to help put the above strategies in place. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated graduate with a first/upper second class BSc or MSc in a related Computing/Web Design/Web Development/e-Marketing subject. While they will be based at Bay Plastics Ltd, they will be supported by academic staff at the University of Teesside.

The role requires a knowledge of:
• E-Marketing Strategy and Process
• SEO Techniques and Technologies
• E-Metric analysis and development
• Web optimisation using web authoring and web scripting skills

This post is a six month temporary contract with the succesful person being employed by the University of Teesside with an immediate start.

Salary range £18,550 £19,646 (depending on qualifications and experience)
