Codeworks' Think and a Drink

Codeworks' Think and a Drink

Codeworks’ next Think and a Drink event will focus on ideas generation. It will look at the ways new ideas can be generated for businesses and the tools and models that can be used to help.

The event will start with a talk from an expert in the field, before businesses split off into five groups to put what they have just learnt into practice. The five groups will explore ideas in the following areas:
• Social networking
• New applications for mobiles
• Location technology ideas
• New ideas for video usage on websites
• Ways to deliver healthcare solutions via telecommunications

Each group will have a professional facilitator to help with the idea generation. Codeworks and sponsors the Institute of Digital Innovation (IDI) will be looking for any viable ideas that they can help people take forward.

[More:]

If you have an idea within any of the areas above that you’d like to discuss with either Codeworks or the IDI there will representatives from both organisations available on the evening. Forms will also be available for you to submit your ideas after the event which will provide the opportunity to work with Codeworks or the IDI to take your idea(s) forward and of course meet new contacts and network.

The event takes place at St James’ Park, Newcastle on Thursday 27th November from 5.30pm – 8.30pm. The ideas generation session will be followed by food, drink and networking.
